What Has Changed In SharePoint 2010?
SharePoint 2010 is packed full of new features, feature enhancements, and general improvements that is really hard to know where to start. For those of you who have worked with SharePoint 2007 there have been a number of terminology changes and software products that have been integrated into SharePoint 2010. Below is a high level overview of some the changes you will see between SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010:

Welcome to the 14 Folder
Welcome to the 14 folder where all the information you need to know about Microsoft SharePoint 2010 lives.
For those of you who may not know, Microsoft SharePoint 2010 is an integrated suite of server capabilities that manages enterprise and web content to allow people to share, collaborate, analyze, search, and archive information through an intuitive and malleable web interface in order to better facilitate business insight. The 14 folder, also known as the "14 hive", is located under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\14\ and contains all the system files needed to run SharePoint 2010. Currently Microsoft SharePoint 2010 is in closed Beta, however you can pre-register for the open Beta starting in November at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/evalcenter/ee388573.aspx.
